Step Aboard AIDAsol!
Get on board and discover what makes a journey with AIDAsol an unforgettable experience.
Aida Cruises, Cruise Gate Hamburg and Hamburg Messe invite you to an exclusive two-hour ship tour through a floating holiday paradise.
Explore the ship’s architectural highlight – the stunning glass theatre that spans three decks, seamlessly connecting the atrium, theatre, and bars in a light-filled space. Enjoy a glimpse into the wellness and fitness area, sunny decks with pools and whirlpools, and a wide range of culinary delights across seven restaurants and 13 bars & clubs.
AIDAsol is also a pioneer in sustainability: in 2017, it became the first cruise ship in Europe to go into regular operation at the shore power system at the Cruise Centre Altona. Since then, the AIDAsol has been regularly supplied with green shore power during its mooring times in Hamburg. This makes it possible to switch off the main engines and significantly reduce emissions in the port - an important contribution to air pollution control and climate protection.
During the tour, you’ll learn more about this innovative system – both on land and on board – and how it helps reduce emissions while docked in Hamburg.

The centrepiece of the AIDAsol is the glass theatre. The atrium, theatre and bars merge here across three decks to form a light-flooded space - for the best entertainment and as a centrally located meeting point for a delicious drink. With a spacious wellness and fitness area, extensive sun decks with three pools and four whirlpools, several shops, an art gallery, the AIDA Kids Club and the Teens Lounge, the ship has something to suit every holiday preference. Three buffet restaurants, three exclusive à la carte restaurants, the popular Brauhaus and the juiciest burgers in the world invite you to enjoy your holiday to the full. 13 bars & clubs round off the culinary pampering programme perfectly.
AIDAsol was a pioneer in terms of environmentally friendly energy supply in the port: it served as a test ship for the first shore power initiatives in Hamburg-Altona in 2016. In 2017, it became the first cruise ship in Europe to go into regular operation at the shore power system at the Cruise Centre Altona.
Since then, the AIDAsol has been regularly supplied with green shore power during its mooring times in Hamburg. This makes it possible to switch off the main engines and significantly reduce emissions in the port - an important contribution to air pollution control and climate protection. The system in Altona was the first of its kind in Europe and was developed together with partners such as Becker Marine Systems.
