This year’s programme explores how cruise lines, ports, destinations, regulators, and suppliers are responding to new imperatives — from decarbonisation and smart ship design to evolving guest expectations, community engagement, and shoreside innovation across destination immersion, port operations, and infrastructure. 

With a distinctly European lens and dedicated focus on river cruise, small ship, and expedition growth, we spotlight both long-established and emerging regions, interrogate key regulatory and ESG developments, and elevate the voices shaping the cruise experience — from bridge to shore.

On Friday 12 Sep, the Seatrade Europe conference will turn its focus to Global Growth, looking at Emerging Deployment Markets Beyond Europe. 

Cruise destinations across Asia, the Middle East and Australasia, are investing in infrastructure, experiences, and partnerships to attract global cruise lines. Offering a perspective from further afield, we will explore how these regions are shaping global deployment strategies and responding to shifting guest expectations.
