Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH (HMC), established in 1972, is an experienced and reliable full-service-provider organising national and international trade fairs and exhibitions as well as congresses and seminars on its own facilities in the heart of Hamburg, northern Europe’s most important business hub. Furthermore, HMC has achieved a high reputation for its activities abroad.
The extensive portfolio of HMC includes international trade fairs for consumer and investment goods, consumer shows as well as mega events such as the port of Hamburg’s birthday celebrations. Each year, up to 10,000 exhibitors and 1 million visitors from all over the world find their way to the trade fair centre of Hamburg. CCH - Congress Center Hamburg hosts about 150,000 participants attending an average of 200 congresses and meetings every year. In addition, there are roughly 400,000 visitors to approximately 200 cultural and social events.
Hamburg Messe features representatives in more than forty countries worldwide, in order to supply excellent support to its foreign customers. HMC sees itself as a service provider in the broadest sense of the term. That includes services which have been greatly expanded over the past few years, and which will continue to be added to and improved over years to come
Located in the heart of the city, the exhibition and congress centre of Hamburg is one of the most attractive in Europe. The extension of the trade fair grounds and the construction of the new trade fair secure this position amongst its international competitors. The new facilities are state-of-the-art in their functionality and technical possibilities. The extension of the Congress Center targets the same goal. Besides new conference facilities, an additional multifunctional exhibition hall has been constructed. This allows for the development of bigger and more sophisticated exhibitions accompanying conferences.
