Passenger card details are captured by the SPMS and using internet technology, are sent via encrypted and secure means to the Servebase host for processing in real-time. From here pre-authorisation at embarkation, 'top up' during the cruise in the event of passenger overspend and final authorisations are obtained from the bank / acquirer / processor of your choice. Settlement files are then sent via Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) to the Servebase host.
