The nature on display along the entire coast and inland is exceptional and consists of wilderness, national parks and beautiful archipelagoes, all of which highlight the rich culture of this little visited wonderland. A visit to the Artic Circle is a must. From mid May to early August 24 hours daylight can be experienced here at the height of summer. What about golfing in sunshine, swimming from the beach or even just to be within the Arctic Circle – all at midnight? Meet with the Sámi people in Lapland who have inhibited the northern regions of Scandinavia for thousands of years. The Sámi’s are well-known for reindeer husbandry and this aspect of their culture is in evidence within the area.
