Cruise Iceland – Stand 146

In the past 30 years or so Iceland has become firmly established on the cruise map- first as an ideal stop-over for ships repositioning from the US to Europe or vice versa and then also as a main transit call in its own right in the expanding North European market.

Iceland has witnessed a quadrupling of cruise traffic in the last decade and it’s still very much expanding both in terms of ship size, numbers of calls and product differentiation.

Iceland is a country where the forces of nature are both strikingly visible and in some cases hidden. Often what you see is not always the whole picture which makes it an alluring destination. Iceland is not only closer than you think it’s also far different from what you ever imagined with magnificent waterfalls, spouting hot springs, tremendous glaciers,  raging rivers , lava, volcanoes, multitude of birds, cavorting whales just offshore and many other things.

Cruise Iceland association was established in 2004 to combine the resources of all those involved in recieving cruise ships to help promote the island as an exciting destination. Today 21 companies are members of Cruise Iceland including eight ports providing easy access to every area of the country.

Following exhibitors within Cruise Iceland will be showing their products on Cruise Iceland’s booth 146:
