Harbours and lands blessed with sun and sea. The Ports of Olbia and Golfo Aranci have got a natural vocation for tourism and cruising owing to their morphological features, the high-quality service they offer, their position in the heart of a land full of natural, historical and artistic beauties whose value is impossible to determine.
The new developing planning scheme is to set up a modern and streamlined harbour system, taking account of our land’s tourist vocation. The town waterfront will be dedicated to pleasure boating. This is an ambitious project that is going to bind the sea to the town and its dwellers. The reintroduction of the port system of Olbia and Golfo Aranci in the cruise market is taking place thanks to the construction of a new berth south of Isola Bianca’s pier (berth n° 9) which has been designed for cruise ships, and the construction works, already started, will be completed by the middle of 2007.
